Cleanzwell Hand and Face Sanitizing Wipes kill 99% germs and remove dirt or grime, providing a better option than hand sanitizer gels.

Our hand sanitizer wipes are made of soft non-woven material with added natural  Aloe Vera and Chamomile Flower Extract to moisturize and soothe the skin.

They are ideal for a quick and convenient clean-ups and sanitize after contact with greasy food, oily dirt, sticky fluid and dirt.

Storage Condition: Keep pack tightly closed when not in use. Store in cool dry place. Avoid freezing conditions. Do not re-use wipes

Caution: For external use only. Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes. Do not use when you have skin irritations. If irritation persists, wash off with soap and plenty of water. Keep away from Flame.

Besides ethanol and isopropyl alcohol, Benzalkonium chloride (BAC) is FDA approved to use in the formulation of healthcare personnel hand hygiene. [1].

Benzalkonium chloride (BAC) is a primary non-alcohol-based active ingredient used for clinical, food line, and domestic household biocides [2,3]. 

A biocide is a general term for a chemical agent that may be applied topically in/on living tissue (antiseptic) or inanimate objects (disinfectant) to inhibit the growth of or kill microorganisms [4].

Benzalkonium chloride is used to formulate disinfectants and cleaner-sanitiser for the hospital, livestock, food & dairy and personal hygiene sectors. ​

​Can Cleanzwell Hand & Face Sanitizing Wipes be used to clean eyeglasses?

Benzalkonium chloride (BAC) has been reported to cause eye irritation.  Cleanzwell sanitizing wipes should be use with caution in dry eye patients and in patients where the cornea may be compromised. We suggest that consumers check with their lens care providers for the best method of cleaning their lenses.

​Does Cleanzwell Hand & Face Sanitizing Wipes stain clothes?

Cleanzwell Hand & Face Sanitizing Wipes active ingredient, benzalkonium chloride (BAC) are non-flammable and will not stain clothing, surfaces or flooring.

​Is the active ingredient, benzalkonium chloride (BAC) the same as bleach?

Bleach or Chlorine, or Sodium Hypochlorite to be more exact is NOT the same as benzalkonium chloride (BAC). Bleach is a powerful oxidizing agent and as such is corrosive to substances and surfaces. Bleach causes severe burns to skin, eyes, and in a vapour form, will cause severe and acute burns to the lungs and mucous membranes.
 
From a cleaning point of view, one good alternative is using benzalkonium chloride(BAC) being just one such example. However, they are not quite as effective in killing viruses and bacteria like bleach, so longer contact times are needed, but they don’t have potentially dangerous reactions that bleach could cause to humans and surfaces.

​IS CLEANZWELL HAND & FACE SANITIZING WIPES SAFE FOR CHILDREN TO USE?

Concentrated solutions are toxic to humans, causing irritation to the skin and mucosa. However, 0.1% is the maximum concentration of benzalkonium chloride that does not produce primary irritation on intact 

Cleanzwell Hand & Face Sanitizing Wipes contains a concentration of 0.08%. Cleanzwell Wipes can be used to wipe off children's toys , school bags, sports equipment BUT only under adult supervision in an open and airy area.  Use with care in a child younger than 4 years of age.

ARE CLEANZWELL HAND & FACE SANITIZING WIPES PRODUCTS SUITABLE FOR PEOPLE WITH SENSITIVE SKIN?

There can be many factors which cause irritation to sensitive skin, and very often these factors are hard to predict. It is therefore recommended to use our wipes on a small patch of your skin to test if there is any adverse reaction.
